GTA Trilogy certainly didn’t have the launch we expected, especially after the great anticipation of longtime fans of the series. Rockstar Games has released a collection that is not quite worthy of the titles that are part of it, and gamers and modders always complain about glaring technical issues that these versions of the games feature. Faced with such obvious flaws, Rockstar Games has let it be known that it has made some important decisions that will appeal to all buyers.
Recently, the software company made it known both that it has decided to reinsert the original versions of GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas in its digital store for PC, and that will offer them to everyone who bought GTA Trilogy on PC. Additionally, perhaps even more appreciated, Rockstar Games has revealed that The collection’s first post-launch update is now available, available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
Xbox s series is currently on sale with Black Friday.
Curious that the patch notes only mention the PlayStation and Xbox consoles, although they are presents some small novelties also for the Nintendo Switch version. Among the novelties, there are many improvements on so many aspects of the games: localization issues have been fixed, holes in the map have been removed, some textures repositioned, collisions between objects fixed and the animations of some models in specific enhanced cutscenes.
Find more information and complete the release notes in Rockstar Games Blog, where it illustrates all the changes made. Surely, after this update, GTA Trilogy will finally be able to leave behind most of the problems which we unfortunately discovered at launch, and hopefully more fixes will be released to make this collection the ultimate experience for playing three timeless works that are loved by gamers. Remember that on our pages you can find the cheats for GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas.
