Initialize the Playstation

Initializing the PlayStation will erase all content on it. You’re basically formatting the hard drive.

  1. Turn it console off.
  2. Press and hold the power button button until hear two beeps.
  3. Connect the controller via USB when required.
  4. Select Initialize PS4.
  5. Restart the PS4.

Hardware problems
