iPhone 13: no Touch ID this year either. Gurman’s confirmation

About a month after the presentation of the next expected series iPhone 13, in all likelihood Apple not implementer not even this year the sensor Touch ID. The news was published by well known expert Marc Gurman that during his newsletter ‘Light up’ claimed that “although Apple had tested Touch ID under the display for the next flagship iPhones, this year will not do it. I believe Apple is focusing on Face ID for its iPhones and its long term goal implement Face ID under the screen“.

The fate of the iPhone 13 seems almost decided with the disappointment of many users who have been eagerly awaiting the return of the feature. The lack of a fingerprint sensor has been a huge burden in this time of pandemic, given that the use of the mask limited the effectiveness of Face ID. From the start of the year, there was talk of a possible return of Touch ID after three generations without, but so, apparently, that will not be the case. The Colossus of Cupertino however, keep working and focusing on Face ID technology and reduce the notch for the next iPhone by.

For now what we expect from the iPhone 13 will be here significant reduction of the notch, a new generation photographic sector and a display with a 120 Hz. Let’s not forget the future A15 chip with up to 1 TB.
