Microsoft announced that Windows 11 has just entered the extended deployment phase, the latest, and therefore from now on, it will be offered on all eligible devices via Windows Update. Only devices restricted by a compatibility block, or those with the ability to defer updates until possible, will be an exception.
The company also released some smoky but interesting data. Windows 11 has been widely adopted by the public since its release last October, with twice the rate of new installs seen with Windows 10. All this coupled with “highest scores on product quality and satisfaction”than any other version of Windows ever released to the public.
Windows 11 enters the extended deployment phase
It is precisely on the basis of this data that Microsoft has chosen to “accelerate the pace of deployment” compared to previously announced plans, entering the final stage of distribution before mid-2022. To be eligible for the update, you must have set up a Microsoft account and installed a version from which you can upgrade. update: so Windows 10 2004 or later, with September 2021 updates.

To quickly check if your computer is eligible to receive Windows 11, you can also use the PC Health Check application (PC Health Check in English), which offers an answer to all doubts about it in a few clicks. If the system is eligible, to receive the latest version of the Microsoft operating system, simply go to the Windows Update screen in Settings and check for new updates: Windows 11 should appear in the list of new updates that can be installed on the system.
